This sofa/hall table came about somewhat accidentally while moving some wood around in my shop.  The beautifully curved piece of maple that became the stretcher for this piece had been hanging around in my shop for the last couple of years, until I leaned it up against the cedar stumps which I have had for almost 10 years.  And inspiration struck...
