I acquired this unique black
ash burl a few years ago and began the drying process. A wood turner friend of mine carved out 4 nesting bowls from
the larger piece. After finishing the exterior bowl in the summer of 2011, I can honestly say that the resulting
bowl is probably the most beautiful piece of wood that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I cannot wait to
begin work on the interior nesting bowls after the Holidays.
